In the geometry of the heavens, Rahu and Ketu are not physical planets, but mathematical points where the orbit of the Moon intersects the ecliptic. In Vedic science, these are known as the "Shadow Planets," and they represent the most profound psychological tug-of-war in the human experience: the balance between Obsession and Detachment.

Rahu: The Hunger for Innovation Rahu represents where we are "hungry." It is the energy of technology, foreign lands, and unconventional thinking. In a professional context, a well-placed Rahu is the mark of a disruptor - someone who can see the future before it arrives. However, without guidance, Rahu can lead to obsession and burnout.

Ketu: The Wisdom of the Past Ketu is the opposite. It represents our "inherited" mastery - things that come so naturally to us that we often ignore them. It is the energy of withdrawal, research, and deep spiritual insight.

The Strategic Balance The goal of a Strategic Briefing is to help you balance this axis. If you are leaning too far into Rahu (obsession with the future), you lose your roots. If you lean too far into Ketu (detachment), you lose your drive. Success in the 21st century requires us to use Rahu’s innovation while staying anchored in Ketu’s wisdom.

The Scholar-Seer’s Insight: You cannot delete your desires, nor should you ignore your past. Mastery lies in knowing which side of the axis to lean into during different cycles of your life.
